Brice and Romain met in Montpellier, united by the same conviction: the French housing stock is full of untapped opportunities. Millions of square metres of energy-inefficient homes rated F or G are waiting to be turned into high-performance housing. Thousands of vacant offices in city centres could become modern, well-located flats.
Drawing on their respective experience, in finance and strategy for Brice and in operations and site supervision for Romain, they founded Covesta with a clear ambition: to offer end-to-end support, from sourcing the property through to its management, guaranteeing transparency, durability and profitability at every stage.
Today, Covesta targets two high-potential opportunities. The first: the renovation of energy-inefficient homes, those energy-hungry properties whose F or G rating on the energy performance certificate (DPE) is progressively barring them from the rental market. The second: the conversion of vacant offices into housing, a complex but highly profitable operation when well executed. In both cases, Covesta creates value for the investor from day one.
